Safety

As an organization experienced in providing industrial services and mobile work, Sahara maintains a strong stance on Safe Work Practices. At the foundation of our company is a group of dedicated and experienced employees and we view their safety with the highest priority.

Teamwork is a large part of our safety program. Our team building creates a supportive safe environment. Effective communication and problem solving skills, where staff listen to one another and share experiences, as well as recognize that each person has an identity, forms the human foundation for our safety program.

In order to maintain a safe worksite our employees are involved in daily Tool Box Safety Meeting where avoidance strategies are discussed. We also have in place an Immediate Action Program to address any incident, accident, or near miss. Our other safety initiatives include Field Level Risk Assessment Forms for off site work, Field Orientation, Safety training Courses (ongoing), and monthly inspections of PPE, equipment, and facilities.
